Is Kanazawa close to Fukuoka?

When I put Kyoto-Fukuoka on Hyperdia, Kanazawa is listed as being on the way. It is supposedly 30 minutes from Fukuoka. But it seems quite far on the map. Are there 2 Kanawazas?

No, there are two Fukuokas! The main railway station of the large city on Kyushu is called Hakata and not Fukuoka. Unless you enter "Hakata" in Hyperdia, you will end up in a small town in Toyama Prefecture.

I almost made that mistake. Until a fellow guest at Kanazawa corrected me by telling me that the station I need to go to is Hakata.
