7 days in tokyo

Hi all,

i am in tokyo for 7 nights 27 dec till Jan 4 th Any suggestions ?

Also rail pass Is it worth buying one i as i will only be in tokyo and just local trains

It depends where you fly into and where you are staying in Tokyo, but if you fly into Narita then the NEX + Suica return package is usually recommended:-

I would just use the Suica for travelling around and probably wouldn't get any other pass unless you do a day side trip as mentioend below.

Traditionally, you could visit a shrine like Meiji Jingu on New Year's Eve.

With that amount of time in Tokyo I'd strongly recommend a day trip to Hakone, Nikko, or Kamakura. Yokohama is another option. They are all listed here along with other plans for within Tokyo:-
