Kirishima Hotel - bathing suits?

I know this is normally silly to ask, but based on pictures I've seen and the style reminding me of a hot spring resort that required bathing suits in Haokone, I thought I would ask, what are the rules for the onset at Kirishima Hotel?

Bathing suits are not allowed. You can bring a small towel, but the towel should not be put into the water.
